In addition to next week's show at the WCL Queen Theater in Wilmington, I'll be opening for Talent Show Act & The Wild Ponies at the Smyrna Opera House, in Smyrna, DE this Friday, October 3rd. Show starts at 7:30 (that's me). I'll be going solo for this one.
To begin, I must say that Saturday's Make Music Philly events were good fun. It was reassuring and rejuvenating to get out of my comfort zone and to play for people who had no idea who I was or what my music was like. Definitely needed to feel that excitement again. Be sure to check out the facebook or twitter pages for some pictures and posts from the day.
And now on to this week. Thursday is the Smyrna at Night festival, in downtown Smyrna, Delaware. This one-evening celebration of local and regional acts and businesses is from 5:30-10:00pm at various locations in the heart of this quintessential small American town. Myself, with a small band, featuring my two good childhood friends Jessica Yedwab and Nave Strauss on cello and guitar respectively, will be performing at The Painted Stave location between 5:30 and 6:30.
Last night's album release show at Cromwell's Tavern was an overwhelming success! Many thanks to everyone who came to hang out to hear the band and to those who bought some CDs. "Along the Banks of the Delaware" is now officially for sale and available online at CD Babyand digitally on iTunes. Of course keep on eye on show dates as well for your chance to say hey and grab a copy of the album.
